Summary: This was by far the best hospitality we had in any hostel in Brazil (perhaps ever) Roberto and his staff are excellent and went out of their way to make us comfortable and happy. The towels were also excellent- you'll understand this comment if you're a traveller!
It's a 5 minute walk to Pelourinho which is good because it can be quite noisy, so you can have a night out and go home for a good rest.
The breakfast was yummy and served on a terrace on the roof- great touch.
