Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The kitchen staff was polite. The location was convenient, directly on the beach. The room and pool were clean. The walk to the historical center took approximately 15 minutes on foot. There is a pizzeria located across the street from the hotel.

Negative: Breakfast was very basic, with the same fruit served every day (papaya). On each table there was a sign stating that guests would be charged 20 BRL for leaving food on the plate, which contradicts Brazilian consumer law. We will alert PROCON reg this. The bathroom was extremely small and the door barely closed. The room faced the street and was very noisy at all hours. We booked several rooms, including a triple room with three beds, which was clearly stated on Booking.com, but this room was not available. The property also claimed to provide sunbeds and umbrellas for guests to use, which they do not. If you’re traveling light and want to enjoy a long day at the beach it will be difficult at this location. No bars, no sunbeds, no infrastructure. Just the hotel.

Summary: Not a good value for money, loads of papaya
