Positive: As typically found in Fernando de Noronha, this pousada was kept very clean and offered basic to slightly elevated quality in terms of rooms and facilities. As is the case around the entire island, it is very safe and one should not be worried about it at all. Our room was spacious, however the stairs in the room took away some space as they are placed in the middle of it. All beds were very comfortable though! Breakfast is very basic, offering a small variety of fruits, bread, sweets and warm dishes (eggs, sausages etc.). The staff was very nice and helpful throughout our stay and the communication via WhatsApp worked very well! The highlight however was the first edition of Festival Essências da Ilha - FESTei, which took place in the backyard of the pousada. It was very nice to see local artists and vendors offering their products. In combination with live music and good food it was a great success. Congratulations once again to the whole team for the efforts!

Negative: From our perspective, the location is not ideal for exploring large parts of the island. Although a bus stop is available in front of the pousada and, considering the island is small, technically all parts are only 15 min away, however only a few restaurants are close by. We therefore recommend renting a buggy for the entire stay, offering maximum flexbility. Again, this is our personal view, others might prefer the slightly isolated location in comparison to Vila dos Remédios.
