Positive: The hotel is set in a really beautiful location with a sea view. It’s about 20 minutes drive from the centre but has a really nice beach just across the road. The staff were really nice and always helpful when you have questions - they provide beach chairs and towels and parasols if you want to go across and sit at the beach. The rooms are a really great size and the hammocks on the balcony are a nice touch. The sauna area was barely used by other guests so essentially had it to myself several times! I also did a massage spa treatment during my stay and it was so lovely. The nature is great - you can hear a variety of birds. I also ate at the restaurant - the breakfast is a good mix of hot and cold buffet options and there’s a widespread lunch and dinner menu on offer. I came as a solo traveller and felt really safe and secure here.

Negative: Note that if you don’t have a car they can call taxis for you but it normally needs a bit of time (20-30 minutes) as taxis don’t seem to come immediately and seem to be quite expensive for taxis compared to São Paulo.

Summary: Beautiful resort, great for relaxation and being in nature.
