Jardins is one of the wealthiest neighborhoods of the entire city, and one of the best residential locations in town. Within Jardins you'll find Jardim Paulista, Jardim América, Jardim Europa and Jardim Paulistano, which extend southwest from the high rises of the famous Avenida Paulista. Jardins is dotted with a great variety of famous restaurants, beautiful cafés and high end boutiques. It's one of the nicest areas to walk around and explore on a sunny day. Unless you have a specific site to visit elsewhere, there really is little reason to leave.
Getting Around:
São Paulo's public transport system is fully integrated and you can use the Single Ticket to pay for CPTM buses, minibuses, subways and trains. With it, it is possible to make up to 4 bus trips in the period of three hours or use the metro and the train, within two hours, paying only the complement of the integration.
