Summary: The rooms are large and comfortable, and the courtyard is genuinely lovely — there’s a lot of potential here. Unfortunately, the overall experience falls short of what the property could be. Staffing is very limited, and service suffers as a result. The rooftop pool in particular feels like a missed opportunity: it’s virtually impossible to get a drink, and the area itself has clearly seen better days. Breakfast is extremely basic — honestly closer to a Holiday Inn level than what you’d expect from a hotel like this. The free bicycles are, regrettably, among the worst we’ve encountered in Tulum. With a bit more attention, investment, and presence on the service side, this could be a very good hotel. As it stands, it feels neglected, which is a shame given how much it has going for it.
