Let me tell you a little about Kambá House, my home, located on Provincial Route 103, 75 km from Posadas and 20 km from Oberá. Construction was completed about 5 years ago, and I’ve been living here ever since. Over time, I’ve gradually added amenities and touches that have made it a very special place.
My experience with tourism began shortly after construction was finished, when I started hosting guests by renting out the second bedroom and sharing the rest of the spaces with them.
Today, given the unique situation we’re facing, I see an opportunity to offer the entire house to guests looking to escape the city—a space surrounded by greenery and water, in close contact with nature.
The space and amenities:
The house is small but fully equipped. I want my guests to only need to bring the basics, and once there, to have everything they need and more.
The capacity is, in principle, four people, with a double bed in one bedroom and a king-size bed in another, but this number can be doubled by setting up a sofa bed and some air mattresses.
The space consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a laundry room, and a main living area that combines the kitchen, dining room, and living room into one open space. The front porch features a deck and a grill, and the indoor and outdoor spaces flow seamlessly into one another.
120 meters from the house, across the park, is the entrance to the Mártires stream, where you’ll find a place to relax and fully connect with nature.
As for amenities, the house has heat and cool air conditioning in every room, a wood-burning fireplace, a TV with DirectTV, a built-in sound system, and Wi-Fi.
When it comes to cooking—something I personally enjoy and consider essential on days of rest and leisure—you’ll have all the necessary tools at your disposal. Oven, stove, microwave, refrigerator with freezer, small appliances (toaster, coffee maker, blender, mixer, kettle, milk jug), a large grill, skewer, wood-burning burner, griddle, grills, and all the utensils you might need. You’ll also have the basic ingredients for cooking, such as salt, pepper, and spices; olive oil and vinegar; charcoal; and firewood.
As for breakfast, help yourselves to whatever you like—I’ve left bread and farm-fresh eggs, white cheese, oatmeal, some jams, coffee, milk, tea, and Nesquik within easy reach.
Bedding and towels are included, as are soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The laundry room has a washing machine, a clothesline, an iron, and the necessary cleaning supplies.
If needed, a housekeeping service is available.
