Summary: This open-air style beach house has great accommodations for 8-10 people. We felt safe in this house with the security system and garage. We loved the outdoor space (deck, covered deck, and balcony) with an outdoor kitchen, grill, furniture, and pool. The views from the deck were amazing any time of day. The owner and maintenance man were very responsive and helpful when we had questions. They made efforts to communicate with us in English and were eager to tell us about the nearby sites and locations, such as the world’s largest cashew tree (a 5 minute drive away). We loved walking down the beach to two great restaurants with family-style and single plate meals, TVs for watching sports, and tables on the beach at low tide. The small town had just enough amenities to provide everything we needed (tourism office, bank, grocery, etc) but was still small enough so that it felt like we had a private beach. Plus, the more popular tourist beach of Ponte Negra is only a 15 minute drive away.
