Summary: Challenge to find the hotel outside of Petropolis especially at night. The roads twist and turn so it became a challenge to see the hotel sign. The entrance driveway was steep but exciting. However, once we arrived, we were greeted warmly and escorted to our comfortable suite. Amazed by all the original art work on display throughout the hotel. Eating in the dining room was like being in an art gallery. Pleasant, peaceful surroundings outside of Petropolis on a mountain slope. The attentive staff met all our needs at the hotel and suggesting sights to visit in the area. The front desk staff speak English. We would highly recommend this lovely resort to anyone who wants to get out of the big city and enjoy a mountain side experience where it tend to be cooler in climate and more peaceful.
