Positive: Everything. Melonie and Aure were fantastic hosts. Melonie went out of her way to make everything comfortable. She is amazing source of knowledge having lived in the area for decades, and she's Canadian to boot. The food they cooked is amazing and authentic, the beds were very comfortable ( compared to most Mexican beds) and the room was one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in, any where. For birders it's a great place to hang out. So many live around and transit through the property. There was also a family of spider monkeys that came through in the evening. The property has a couple of very friendly dogs, lots of ducks and best of all, chorizo the pot belly pig. It's really a paradise. It is a 15 min drive from downtown puerto Morelos but if you want to avoid the crowds and the hassle of town this is the place. The road from town to the accommodations is very safe and easy to drive even at night.
