Positive: We had a good stay. The island is beautiful (especially the 4th and 5th beaches), the staff was friendly. The place has potential, and the room was quite spacious and cleaned daily (which is great because of the amount of sand you bring in after the beach). The balcony was also very spacious and comfy.

Negative: We know it was high season, but even in Europe you'd expect much much better for these prices. The balcony had a jacuzzi, but we'd prefer that the basics were met. The place was quite shabby. Leaking showers, the balcony roof leaked water, no place to hang clothes, a wonky fridge, shelves made of cardboard?, and no bedside lamps. Regarding the bedside lamps: all the lights in the room were very strong and white: i.e. not ideal when you want to wind down and mellow out in bed. We found that leaving the bathroom light on with the door open was the solution. Not an idea fix though.

Summary: Nice place, nice staff, but shabby rooms and overpriced.
