Summary: Called ahead to say we’d arrive around midnight — was told, ‘no problem, reception’s open!’ Spoiler: it wasn’t. We arrived to an empty hotel, no one answering the phone, and spent an hour outside like two lost ghosts with luggage. Ended up finding another place for the night.
Next day they apologized, gave us an upgrade and a free pizza (the soda we still had to pay for 😂). The place itself is nice, but let’s just say — if you’re arriving after dark, bring a tent. Worst reception ever.
