Summary: The property was a bit of a shock after staying in a really lovely hotel in another area for very similar price. The rooms we stayed in were at the very least in dire need of decoration, there was one plug socket that housed the plug for tv to use, my daughters room had expending foam blocking the fire alarm. The sheets although clean had old marks on them. On the first morning after arrival the dining room was full with not one seat available for breakfast and no seats to wait so we had to exit for a local cafe. The hotel was quite noisy generally and the street noise was very noticeable. In the middle of our stay we had some sort of disturbed / drunk ? person running around the hotel screaming for some time running up and down the floors and along corridors, quite scarey for the occupants, until police arrived to remove them screaming from the top of the property to street level being carried by 4 limbs with two officers and put in the back of police vehicle, although this is probably not the fault of the hotel, the security was obviously an open door policy, even more worrying as the key to my door was not operating properly and sometimes it took me a good 5 minutes to enter or exit the room. It definitely had an effect on our stay in Ushaia, as we were not keen to spend much time in the rooms for relaxation purposes and the weather was quite cold. Usually never complain on these review forums and only leave positive comments, but I would not recommend this hotel at all.
